Hey guys.
I recently converted a Revo 3.3 into a X01 lipo monster. I know.I know. Blasphemy!
Still have the Tmaxx for that nitro fix, though.

I was able to keep my Rc Solutions cage on the Revo with only a small amount of filing.

Now I'm looking for front/rear bumpers and wheelie bar that will fit with the cage.. Anyone on here rocking bumpers/wheelie bar with a Rc Solutions cage that can shed some light on my current roadblock?

Would really love to keep this thing on all fours and add a little bit more protection.

Thanks!

I know that RPM bumpers fit on the stock mounts. Not sure if The RCS cage still uses them though. I had to use a center diff on my BB Revo monster to keep the front wheels down.

Talk to T-Bone Racing. I've broken a few RPM bumpers but my TBRs have taken everything I've thrown at them. They're pretty quick at responding to emails and, if need be, can probably work something custom.

I have one of the t-bones rear skids/bumpers/wheelie bars on my savage and really like it. Odds are, will be getting a brushless revo for Christmas, so it will probably need one too. Going with the RCS cage limits you a bit because it looks like it did away with the wing. That was something I added to both my nitro revo's in place of a wheelie bar.

I absolutely agree with @olds97_lss - I have used several T-Bone racing bumpers and wheelie bars and have been very happy with how well they hold up and price. Plus they also provide a lifetime warranty.

I didn't realize there was a warranty on them. I've sent my savage tumbling end over end and the tbones held up just fine. I was afraid at first that an off kilter hard rear landing would mess it up, but not so far.

I didn't realize there was a warranty on them.
Yes sir! Plus they are made in the USA.

Warranty Policy
T-Bone Racing has an outstanding unlimited lifetime warranty program!
If you break a T-Bone part, we will replace it!
This program covers all Nylon products, most delrin products, skids with bends in them, braces, T-bars and manufactured hardware. We will not replace wheels, hardware, flat skids, or lost items. If you're unsure if your item(s) qualifies for a replacement, no problem, simply send us a photo and we'll let you know.

My integy metal wheelie bar for the Savage X keeps bending when I crash end over end. Ends up bent completely up against the bumper so the wheel can't spin, and I bend it back again so it has clearance. Probably will break eventually :(

integy metal will break :(
I fixed your quote by removing info that really isn't needed. :thumbs-up:
Integy is kind of a bad word around here. The rule of thumb is NOT to buy anything that will take abuse or hard hits. It's exceptionally pretty but pretty doesn't make it durable. They actually do make a few products that are excellent (brushed crawler motors and a few other things) but check with us for recommendations when you do any upgrades to your rig.

I know metal is not recommended for high stress parts. I didn't think a wheelie bar was one. And I thought the plastic one from HPI was over priced. In the mean time I'll try not to end over end crash too often :)
