It is lighter and runs longer than an equivalent sized nimh. It will also give more voltage. If you have high voltage servos, go for it, otherwise you'll need a regulator to take it back down to 6.0v.
I was thinking about going to lipo for my revo when I needed a new rx battery and the dude at my LHS talked me out of it. Pretty much said it wouldn't be worth it overall, just for the longer run time. Maybe its because its a revo not an 8T.
Oh yeah, I have seen a couple posts about how people cannot use the flat rx battery top on the 8ight 2.0 with that Losi 2s. Have you seen it work? I'd do it on my 8B 2.0 if it would.

You get more than enough runtime from a standard 6v 5-cell hump pack. We're talking anywhere from 3-6 hours. If you are running that much in a day, props to you, as you have way more time than me. With my schedule, I think I charge my RX pack once or twice a week in summer.
