Yeah, those pits kill me. It usually wont start fueling or put the circle up unless I'm right against the side walk part, but alot of the time I hit that and it flips me over or flips me around so I have to push the space bar to get going then it sets me back out on to the track so I have to try again.

I cut it so close on refueling that I can't go around after being put back on the track. If it does it again, I am going to flip a U and go the wrong way to enter the pit. LOL

This is so wierd seeing you guys lay down your runs this early in the week, after last season when everyone waited until their was just a few hours left, lol.

Thats what I planed on doing but I just couldn't wait to get started...i'll shoot my wad by Wednesday :hehe:

Yeah I was excited to get started too, I would gladly do two races a week.

No, I actually like it better like this, I am going to try and get one in tomorrow myself just to see where I stand against you guys. I'll probably save one run just in case, but 99% of the time my last run bites me in the ass and is rarely my best run.

Absolutely horrible first run.

I got hacked off the track twice. My line is tight and twice I got too close to the inside and lost control. I booted my 2nd pit which took over 30 seconds without a tire change. At that point I decided to not do a tire change at all to make up the lost time. On my very next pit I got in clean and reached up and accidentally hit the 'T' I guess since it started changing tires. Luckily I noticed and then hit the fuel button. I managed to get in the groove a few times which kept the run respectable. I will give it another go when I am not so frustrated.

What do you guys try to do when its time to do tires, just do them while stopped for fuel of try to do them by them selves?

The less you have to go into the pits the better. Fuel and tires in the same stop.

Here is my second run on the speedway, not to bad, I DNF'd on my first run. A cpuple less messed up laps and I could have broke 140.
139 Laps 18:01.712

I will throw down again this evening.

I'm liking the fact you guys get your runs in early. It's a refreshing change from the last 2 seasons.

I save my last run if needed for that.;)

From my practice runs, I'm guessing 142-146 laps will be the mark.

After my abortion first run, I spent over half an hour refueling. I would take 2 laps to get up to speed and then refuel. I think I have it back now.

One thing I have learned with Speedway. Do not pass an AI on the outside going around the banked turn. They will punt you off the track every time if you get too close. Bastards.

The AI cars seem really agressive this season. I have watched them intentionally turn in to me while passing them, pulling out of the pits at the exact moment I am getting to the pit exit on the track, and I have been punted completely off the track a number of times, waaaaay off the track.
