And its one race a week right?

That is correct. One race a week.

Is alpine or Bill S? gonna be running?

WOW from bad to worse on the Speedway, that run sucked got hacked over and over, oh well it should give everyone else and easy win over me, LOL!!

I'm done on the speedway for this week. I can't run any more laps than what I've ran now. I ran out of fuel before the finish line and coasted across so I think more laps from me is out of the question.

POINTS AWARDED
1st: 10 points
2nd: 8 points
3rd: 7 points
4th: 6 points
5th: 5 points
6th: 4 points
7th: 3 points
8th: 2 points

Bonus for fastest lap recorded: 1 point

-----------------------------------------------------------------

A DNF would equal the last place position for that particular race. So if there are only 3 racers, a DNF would be awarded 3rd.

Note that in order for a DNF to show up, you must complete at least one run. So if a racer logs 3 DNF's, no run will be shown and no points will be awarded.

-----------------------------------------------------------------

The 2010 RCNitroTalk VRC points champion will receive an award tag next to their user name. It will be VRC Orange and say VRC RCNT 2010 Champion.

A New Season Begins

The newly formed RCNitrotalk.com VRC Racing series is about to begin! The first Green Flag drops May 31st. It looks we will have a nice field of entries for this first race with a couple of returning VRC veterans and several rookies set to battle it out for the championship on variety of tracks from around the world. With an oval race in between every couple of road courses and couple of rookie oval racers, the points chase should be very interesting this season.

Let's look at our drivers. First up our veterans. The most experienced being robmob. With several VRC wins under his belt, robmob is a very capable racer and expected to be a threat at every race. Will this be his year?

Our second veteran but really only in his sophomore season,we have Racer 1966. In his rookie season he had several podium finishes and 1 win. So far in testing he's proven to be fast on every track but somewhat inconsistent. Could he pull off a championship in only 2 seasons?

The first our rookies is NCNitro. He did enter a few races in a previous VRC series and even managed a podium finish. He was careful to not enter too many races to keep his rookie status for this year A self-proclaimed oval racer,NCNitro could really be a spoiler for the series.

Our second rookie for the season is longstanding RCNT member SMaxxin. A total newcomer to VRC,Smaxxin has shown some fast laps is the test races so far. It's looks like he could be a big player and definitely one to watch this season.

Next up is another total newcomer to VRC racing and one of RCNT's moderators, slowngreen. So far it looks like slowngreen has struggles some is testing but is showing improvement everytime he's on the track. By the time we get a few races in he may just surprise few other drivers and knock them down a few spots at the finish line.

The last but definitely not the least of our rookies this year is abadk9420. So far on the oval track,abadk9420 has had no problems getting up to speed. Trailing only by a slight margin behind the veteran racers,he may very well be the rookie to watch for this year.

There are 2 other rookies entered in the series this season, alpinehyperlite and alien13. As yet, neither of these drivers have made any test runs which leaves us in question as to whether or not they will make the race. Then if they do make the race, how will they perform? One thing is certain though, this going to be an exciting season of VRC racing!

Let's get ready to RUMMMMMBLLLLLLE!

Woo Hoo!

We have own little corner of RCNT.

Thanks WoodiE

Cool, thanks for the forum Woodie!

I just put in a run, damn that SUCKED! My regular set up was soooo bad it would not turn in to the corners, I got hacked more times than I could count, I just could not get out of traffic. I will work on my set up and lay down another run later tonight cuz I aint happy at all with that run.:\

WTF?

On my final speedway run I went to pit and of course ran into another car. I hit the space bar and it moved me to the pit where I hit F to refuel. It set me down and I took off only to run out of fuel less than a lap later. Race over at that point, but since it was my final run I kept at it. right before the race was over some sort of lag occurred and the race ended. I got 61 laps which wasn't too bad considering the pit problem. Now I go to check the standings and it only shows I have 60 laps and my time is less than the length of the race.

So again I say...WTF? 60 laps 7:57:923

Ha ha, finally it messes up for someone else! It messes up on me pretty often, sometimes in the pits it will start fueling then just stop for a few seconds, no control over it at all then finally it'll get going again.

I made my one and only run on Lux.

Pre-Season ends at Midnight and the 2010 RCNitroTalk VRC season begins.

Good luck to everyone.

Let the season begin.....

Ha ha, finally it messes up for someone else! It messes up on me pretty often, sometimes in the pits it will start fueling then just stop for a few seconds, no control over it at all then finally it'll get going again.

That whole pit fiasco basically cost me the race. Not sure what went on at the end. I got screwed out of a lap that's for sure.

A lap is nothing, I got screwed out of about a minute on one race!

I just finished up on Lux, as soon as it announced 1 min to go I couldn't keep the darn thing on the track..Choked big time! The strange thing is my best run was in the same set up I use on speedway.

Huh? Does your race actually announce something or do you mean that when you saw the clock? I get no announcements.

I set it to announce so I would know when to refuel without having to watch the clock....the down side is it announces two and one minutes left in the race which always screws me up!
