6.6!

I cannot figure out how to get anymore speed out of my car. I'm not sure which angle to tackle the issue. Is it powerband? Is it entry? Is it center? I can't figure out where the improvement should be.

Josh has seen my setups. They're a bit weird. I always focus first and foremost on being able to take Turns 3 and 4 full out. I only let off the throttle on Turns 1 and 2. And I like a setup that lets me roll through them. I barely ever use brakes. I sometimes set a touch of drag brake using my tx trim. But no heavy braking into 1. Just let it roll in, power out.

Hey, whatever works. Your setup offer good lap times but I've always thought it causes some inconsistancy because it's probably more demanding to drive.

I've smoothed out the performance. I've taken some of the steering out which makes it easier to drive. My big problems with that run yesterday were just a few traffic issues. The setup has gotten much smoother and more forgiving. I tried one of those old setups I showed you and I couldn't believe I actually tried to race with those!

Ouch. I just looked at my Tx and I have over 3 Hrs. on the pack. I need a recharge or else I run the risk of using all my juice in practice.

Just got a run in.

Car got really loose after the last pit stop and my transmitter hand started to go numb. Got into the wall twice after running a real consistent first 3/4 of the race.

After looking at Jeff's time, it looks like he also had handling issues after his last pit stop.

I have another run in me depending on what the rest of you guys do.

I guess I didn't do too bad for my first race. After my first pit stop though the video got real choppy and messed me all up, thought I was gonna have a seizure, lol. I don't know if I should stick with the run I laid down or try again.

That was a good run Joe.

Just remember that your last run is what counts if you make another run. So it you do worse or have a DNF, that is what will count.

I just ran my race. I fiddled around with my setup for a while beforehand but couldn't find anything so I just ended up using an older setup I've had for 95% grip. I'm about to go see how I stack up now.

Thanks Rob. I think I am just going to stick with my first run.

I tried next weeks track, I can NOT run road courses. I really enjoyed the oval, but I think I am going to be very very very bad on the road courses. :whhooo:

Geesh, the online track was way different this week. I put one run in,I'm fairlyplease with it sice I had to really fight the car for 3/4s of the race.

Only one lap Rob, it's tempting......... but you'd still have time to come back and whoop me.

EDIT : BTW JOE, I think your run is super for the time out!

Actually, what have I got to lose? I am in last place anyway, so I won't finish any worse than where I am already, maybe I should give it another go.

You have nothing to loose.

Damn good run.

I am content unless Randy runs again and beats me.

I know I can add at least 2 more laps, but no way I can add 4.

Have you seen the duration for next week's race Rob? :)

:whhooo:

It's going to be brutal.

Ok, well it's official, I SUCK! I had a LOT of problems with the AI cars on these two runs, I had no wheres near the issues with them on my first run. I also had bad pulsing/ glitching of the graphics, I don't know what to do about that, maybe it's my graphics card, but that really messes me up. Guess I should have stuck with my first run, oh well, I was last anyway, so I am still last. :\

You still did good for the first time Joe.

As for the glitching, I have occasional problems too. I tried lowering all of the graphics levels and it helped some but it still happens once in while. I can't say what to do to fix it,my computer is way over minimum requirements.
