The 6-7th of Sept. is looking good for me. I May be out of the country the week before.
I'm about 45 miles North of the Golden Gate Bridge.
I refuse to go to Fresno or Bakersfield. Ill sit on my couch and watch Capt. Kangaroo before I go to one of the two armpits of CA.

I'm over in Orange County, but I'm willing to make a trip.

For me it would have to be a weekend trip, a lot easier to take off. It would have to be towards the end of August or sometime during September.

Sac doesn't sound like a bad idea, since there are lots of tracks. It's what a 6 hour drive? What would be considered halfway between Eureka and San Diego? The reason being there are a couple of members in San Diego.

Eureka is 5 hours away from Sac but don't worry about me because I am willing to fly since its cheaper than gas, wear and tear on the car.

hey, can we also have northwest bash? (just a thought):write:

I second that. My parents are real strict and I wouldn't be able to goto a bash in cali. It'd have to be in washington state or maybe northern part of oregon.

I'm in L.A. I can make the trek up to No Cal, but August is not good for me. September is better.

What's up with bashing in So Cal?

if it was in northern oregon Me and KK wouldn't have to go far......

BTW talking about a NW bash...

i'm also from L.A.
i'm down for some road trip, my august and september is wide open but the 1st half of august is a no-go for me

Sweeeet! Mjime, Mquejr, and 007kel bustin first ever FRC field trip!

Sounds like you guys want to get the hell out of LA. :mex:
We would love to have you guys come and invade Nor. Cal.

We all started with onroads because its all concrete out here. Then a couple of us got some offroad nitros but the best we could bash at was at a park unless we wanted to race at a track. All construction zones are fenced and flattened before we could get to them and they all have security. Not to mention there are no bmx tracks out here either (that I know of), so YEAH, we want to get out of LA to bash a little. We were thinking of going to Mexico. My wifes sister in laws family is from Tecate (like the beer and where the beer is brewed). The wife and I went down there and there are hella a lot of bashing areas. We may take that trip sometime. They also have the best Carnitas and Asada over in Tecate!

That's so funny that you say that about LA. I always think it has all the off-road places to ride. Just think its the Motocross, BMX, RC capitial of the United States. I have a friend that I grew up with Casey Johnson who races pro 125cc and they have kinds of terrian to run on. I shoot him an email and see where he suggest you guys check out. Do you not have a car or something?

Yeah, I do, lol, but I dont know any places that we could bash at that look like some of the places in, say, Skys vids and pictures.

Yeah, if he could let us know of some places, that would be sweet. We are willing to go out on a drive to get to some of these places.

Don't get me wrong So Cal is awesome. It seems as though everything for off-road is north of LA. As mjime said not much for off-road in So Cal.

mjime-Actually there are 2 places off of the 60 freeway where we could bash, now that I think of it. It's strictly off-road though.

One is in Beaumont, they ride a lot of dirtbikes there, lots of hills and jumps. The other is called Whitewater, it's mostly sand dunes though. Both are free to the public. I'll try to find more info.

Or we can all go down to Mexico for the bash.:mex: Good food, good beer:cheers: and maybe catch the donkey show.:shhh:

It seems that September is open for most people. Can anyone suggest a track north of LA?

WEST COAST MEXICO BASH! We all meet and stay in San Diego and drive over the border; bash, eat, drink, bash, eat, drink, donkey show. Drive back over, hang out in the Gas Lamp District (downtown SD) and hit the bars! Man that sounds like fun.

I'm good for either north or south. We just all need to get on the same page first.

I could imagine the carnage happening in Mexico though.

Good. About 80's to 90's. If were talking Sacramento.

So is everyone free labor day weekend?
