HB, you may be closer to Tacoma than The Dirt. You may be able to make that race.

How far are you from Saugas?

It's funny you say that, Tacoma is about 12-13 hours away. Dude I had no idea where Saugas was until you just said that then I map quested it. Sargus it is!!!! I will try to drag FastEddy with me where he will proceed to take 3rd place.

Great! Glad to see that you are going! FRB - There is a pro class and intermeddiate class this year in the series. I will be racing in the intermediate class so that i dont have to contend with factory sponsored drivers. I am sure that even in the interemediate class i will be out of my league, but i want to enter anyway for the experience. And like drobe said, even if i place 100th, it would still be something to talk about. We have the Round 1 warm up here this saturday. since the warm ups seem to be about 3 weeks ahead of the race, i am hoping to visit each track for their warmups as well, time and money permitting.

lol.. drama.. hehe.. i just race for fun.. and i like to see where i stand with others.. i dont think i would make it to Florida to race.. one reason, no sponsor.. but i sure would like to make a race like that, but.. i think the overall results would be good enough for me.. to say i placed 15th or 100th in the RC pro series, is some sorta accomplishment

and racing at events such as a pro series race is an experience in its own.. cuz there is so many racers. and alot of down time.. you can actually walk around.. and chat.. and talk to the top racers.. and get hints.. and stuff.. they let you see their cars.. and stuff like that to see what the pros use in person.. rather than in a magazine.. :)

Sounds like somebody is gettin a little excited! LOL:winnar:

UPDATE, I just talked to Frosty - He says that for at least our division, personal transponders will be required. No handouts.

Hey Nitro, can you elaborate? I emailed Frosty about the personal transponder issue to see whether we had to have them for all the races or not and heres what he had to say.....

James,

as far as I know that is not true. I know they had their own transponders
last year and can't imagine why they wouldnt this year. If I hear different
I will let you know.

All the events should have their own transponders. We wouldnt award a race
without them having them :)

Good luck!

Frosty
