Hello there online community. I recently purchased this eBay light setup for my Arrma Granite 4x4 1/10. The problem I am having is when it’s on and full throttle it will cut out. The lights and steering will still have power but the throttle stops. I still have the stock brushless motor and ecu. Any thoughts?

I see you have Spectrum. Is the AVC turned on? IF so then all other aux channels are disabled.

I usually run a separate battery pack for the lights on my rigs to keep the brown outs from happening on my SCX-10/JK because I do know that my steering servo is power hungry.

If that is the case you can use a electronic switch to turn lights on/0ff with an aux channel and use a separate battery to run lights.

Not really as the light controllers that most buy and use have only a + and - lead but no signal lead which is what the RX uses to signal off and on states to Aux channels.

I run a Castle BEC in all my electric rigs. And in my Wraith I have a light/winch controller that uses a toggle switch and runs off a fourth channel (channel 3 is for my shift servo) on the receiver. I can control either my servo winch, or my lights from my Futaba 4PLS radio.
