Hey Folks!

I recently had another positive interaction with Redcat Racing regarding a battery warranty issue. I sent them an email and they responded in mere minutes.

I thought I should share this positive interaction because we genuinely only hear or share the negative.

Their responsiveness the last few times I have contacted them has ensured that when they release another vehicle I am interested in, I would not hesitate to make the purchase.

I have had others with Venom Power when they were a thing and HH back in the day regarding a battery.
Horizon were unable to ship me a warranty Lipo direct due to shipping restrictions for Lipos and me being in Canada. (For what it's worth Redcat just told me they're shipping it an alternative way).

Well, HH opened up their catalog and would ship me anything with the exception of a new battery. Later on that summer I took delivery of my first 1/10 buggy; a ECX Boost.

Anyone else have a customer service story they wish to share? Did the company make it right, or make you feel better about the situation?

Yo. I want to go on the record that Redcat brough me back to the hobby after almost 30 years. Haven't had need to contact them, but I've been very pleased with both the quality and performance of my Everest 10. Seeing recent comments about their 1/18 offering being excellent out of the box makes me happy. Nice seeing a brand make moves in earnest.

AMain did right by me earlier this year when my Sandmaster tracking stalled after a couple weeks in-transit. Bro had a replacement out with tracking within like 30 minutes of my email asking for an update. Of course, this scared the first one into moving again, so I actually had two delivered in two days. (They emailed me a label to send one back.) I am making an effort to shop them first.

That's awesome! It's always nice to hear about positive customer service stories.

I had a recent, great experience with Kyosho too. As I was finishing up my Ecto-1, I discovered I had misplaced the Mercedes body mounts to attach it to the chassis. I could not for the life of me find them. I emailed Kyosho America explaining my issue, they called me the following day. I chatted with an awesome human for a bit and he found me the clips, shipped to me...free of charge! I was floored with the great customer service. Definitely made me want to buy more Kyosho.

And funny thing too...within the last couple weeks, I was in our garage and behold, I found those dang body clips, they had fallen behind our small spare fridge 😆. I'm guess they fell when I was painting the body out there.

Like Nick Wilde, "...I'd lose my head If it weren't attached to my neck. That's the truth."

I've experienced the best possible kind of customer service from Rlaarlo, Zeppin, and Horizon Hobby in recent times. I'm sure there are others I'm forgetting.

As someone who has had multiple interactions with Redcat, and even HSP, in China, who they partner with for several vehicles, I have seen a big difference the last year or so with their customer service. It used to be spotty at best, but it has gotten quite a bit better the last few months for sure.
