why thank you kind sir.

A thread worthy of chip's time!!!!

You still never got back with me about those lipo taps. I am gonna stop inviting myself to your place if you keep it up. :)
YOU should have looked the other night when YOU was at the house..... :hehe:
You know where the hobby room is Dooooood.

I was too busy eating oatmeal pies, watching you balance bottles if wine and fondling your 4PK to worry about lipo taps.

I was the guest anyway, you are supposed to cater to ME and remember what I need.

HAHA yea. Bring it!!!! Its some subdivison that was started and got a few houses, but never was finished. Real nice area for 1:1 or scalers.

I've lost some momentum on this build. I went offshore for a huge install and those 5 days killed the excitement. Everything is here, i just need to make some time to work on it. I got a little work done today. I wanted to run the uber beef driveshafts so i had to toss the stock upper link setup and go with a 4 link. I just used revo pushrods to connect below the stock servo mount and the extra length gave me the pinion angle i needed to keep the driveline smooth under any conditions. I know the angle looks extreme but its silky smooth. I ordered a black H2 body for it but they guy sent a yellow one. I am going to run yellow for now and i will paint it flat black if i get tired of it. Its a decent cheap body so thats all i am looking for. I also mounted the summit tranny in there and that thing is a BEAST. I am done talking for now so here are a few pictures to show you what i have done so far.

haha awesome, thats pretty much what i am going for. I plan to have a little more low speed control but that just about sums up my plans right there.

i will post better pics later today. i was just tired last night after building the shafts.

got everything ordered to finish it up. pushrods for the rear, $20 worth of traxxas HC connectors, few feet of wet noodle 12Awg wire.

I plan to have it running next weekend. i still need to figure out a body mount system and figure out where the heck i am going to put the esc and rx but i guess i will figure that out when i come to it.

i don't. but if its anything like the way you have your new trailer mounted, i think i will just find another way. :D:D:hehe::hehe::p::p::p:

I am just out of room on the chassis. we'll see.

how did you do yours anyway.

Thats looks good ! I'm gonna have to build another crawler now !

Thanks! Do it!

ash-hooooolllee. haha.
commercial grade velcro, on mounts made on-top of the stock mounting towers. and velcro on the inside of the body.

o yeah, now i remember. i might get some crazy velcro we use here. its all hard plastic that meshes together. You can literally hold a good 35-40lbs of weight with a 3 inch x 3inch square of it.

yea. I've tried basicly everything even magnets, and the velcro is the BEST I've found. unless you want to drill holes in your pretty body.

nah, don't want to drill any holes.

The body is growing on me. I am thinking with the new 4 link design i should be able to pop wheelies with it in low gear and flip it over in high gear. Gotta love 25V
