Race Day! Woohoo!

I've been waiting two weeks to go racing again. last sunday was a fund raiser for make a wish where they had am RC airshow and stuff. the lhs/track people did a demonstration with the buggies. it was pretty cool to watch and it was for a good cause but i would have rather been racing.

someone is going to bring a Savage to the track. That will be sweet cause I've never seen one in person. I just know I Want one.

Race day was a lot of fun. This was my second sunday at the track, but the first time I managed to dehydrate myself and ended up sick as a dog. I didn't even get to race for even one heat that day.

Yesterday, I raced two heats. I expected to come in last and I did both times. I'm just learning. I had a fun loosing though. It was a blast.

Durring the intermission before the mains, they let us practice on the track a little. I jumped on the oportunity for some extra track. I ended up blowing the gears in my rear diff before the main. The Lightning Pro has the weak stock diff gears that you find in the RR version. I'm gonna buy some Infrerno MP 7.5 gears as they are a direct fit. Should only cost $15 or so total. It's not a big deal, just anoying. I'll have to replace the front and center as they give out too. I wish I had enough cash to just buy the whole set front center and back all at once, but I don't. I'm broke. If I went to Buger King, I'd have to put a Whopper on layaway.

When u have a family, ur always broke. I wish I could at least take a test drive, but no track's around close enough. Which u already know. Glad u had a good time. Take any pics? If so put'em up. :buggy1:

naw, i didn't take any pics. the track is nothing to look at -- a bunch of clay and flexible sewer pipes that act as borders. i had pics at one point and time, but i lost em (someone else took them)
