It should have come with an owner's manual. If not, then the HSN break-in setting is three turns out from all the way in (don't mushroom the tip when you turn it all the way in; be gentle). The manual does not give the LSN break-in setting, but mine was flush with the ring, as in most cases.
It says to run a couple short tanks through the engine with the wheels off of the ground, and then lean the HSN 30 degrees, runs a tank on the ground with short, small increases (blips) of the throttle for a couple of tanks, then lean the HSN 30 more degrees, and see if it will take more throttle, slowly increasing the speed until you can get full powerband out fo it. Odd way to break it in but I did mine slightly differently. I did 4 tanks ont he stand, slowly leaning it until it would take the throttle, and then two tanks doing figure eights on my driveway, letting it cool in between each tanks at BDC. Ran it Saturday first time full throttle after a good warm up. Way out of control. More power than I will ever need.
