Maybe not suited here but since it reguards a heli amd car ill post here..

I just picked up a cheapo Night Hunter mini heli with a gyro from Hastings today for $30 and will be getting my NTC3 delivered tomorrow.
My question is about the gyro in the mini heli being able to go into my NTC3 to serve as a steering correction device for drifting, similar to the HPI D-Box gyro that is made for drifting? I was told in the past that any heli gyro will work but want to make sure before I pull it, wire to rx wires and install it.

Thanks

All of my micro Helis have everything on one board, so I have to agree with Rolex.

Also, I've been told that nitro cars don't make such good drifters. For one, there is almost no load on the motor so it's hard on them, and two most nitro mills don't have a very linear power delivery. For drifting where tiny throttle inputs are the norm, seems like the nitro mill is going to make that tough is you're off the pipe.
