pull start?

Got a new pullstart for the redcat so I can get rid of it.
New pullstart has a little spring like from an ink pen, where does it go?
Done Google search for an hour with no luck

What engine is in it? Redcat does not help much. Unless you mean this than I would contact them for parts.

Wanna say engine is the .18
got the pull start at lhs that had it, but it comes with a little spring that was lost frm mine when I got it
so trying to figure out where it goes. Best I can figure is between pull start and motor shaft

there is a hole on the crank bolt on the engine that it goes in and then you put the pull start on. i dont know what the purpose of the spring is though because when i had my redcat tornado s30 it worked the same with it or without it.

That is only place I seen for it but figured I double check cause I am lock tite screws this time
