You need to be in a hot spot most importantly. Otherwise, its all techno-speak

do you have dsl? if you do and your modem has a antenna all you have to do is goto update on your psp and just follow directions from there..

your psp is wifi only. so you need a wireles router nearby. once you have that the go to the internet settings on your psp. and set up the security the same way the router is set up. with the wep incription password. if you can't understand that then lmk

its basically a laptop...but unless I'm mistaken, don't you need a wireless adapter?, or does it come with one? But I doubt you'll be able to go more than 40 feet away from the router...

yeah the psp is pretty much a lap top. i have a wire less modem that is used for my lap top and my moms computer. its updated to the 2.60 version and everything. when ever i try it says my ip address timed out. but connection is at 100%. i have no idea how to fix it.

make sure your wireless settings allow "outside partys" to connect to the network....

umm I love my psp. Best gift in years. Ok back on topic.

Mine connected right up to the internet when I tried, make sure that little switch on the left side is on the wireless setting..

the switch is on. I'm going to ask my uncle when i see him to morrow if he can do it.

oh yeah evan how far can you go before your out of range?

Not sure, I get an excellent signal, and as I move through the house, it gets slightly weaker, but nothing that effects the internet...but my neighbors sometimes connect to my wireless, so it goes pretty far. I can connect to my other neighbor (on the other side of my house) so the signal will go maybe 100 feet or so....
