On 12/20/04 I ordered some various Wolf Pack Radicals parts from Bruckner Hobbies. When 2-3 weeks passed by with no package, I contacted them for a status report. They said the parts were not in, and they will ship them as soon as they came in and send me an e-mail confirmation.

I need the parts for my high speed project car I was building for a contest. Yesterday I decided to pull out from the contest, and remembering my pending order, I thought it'd be best to get a refund, especially considering that two months have now passed without any fulfillment of the order.

So I call them today, and the person I talked to could not find my order. I gave him all my information including the customer ID number I was issued after placing the order. The only thing this guy can tell me is to talk to "Tom" on monday because he wasn't in today.

I tried to file a claim with Paypal, but they wouldn't accept it because it has passed the period in which I can file a claim. So now I have no choice but to deal with a hobby shop that can't be organized enough to keep track of their obligations. I will be thoroughly pissed if they can't find the paypal transaction and/or I don't get my money back.

So in the future, all you r/c enthusiasts, don't buy from Bruckner Hobbies. And if you do, make sure to phone in the order to be positive the items you are ordering are in stock.

dam i would be mad with them aswell i would just keep phoneing them till they give your money back or give you the parts.

Well, if it comes down to it, i'll have to file a complaint with the better business bureau and if I feel up to it, file a civil suit against them (but i don't think it will come to that).

I have also been having problems with Hot Bodies regarding my Truckzilla kit. I've been through two engines and never got passed break-in. First engine wasn't more than 6 tanks, second was only 3 tanks. I left a message on their answering machine regarding my problems and they haven't called me back in over a month. Called them today and talked to the operator, who didn't deal with the warranty work. I gave her my info and she said she'll make sure they call me today. I spent $230 on my Truckzilla kit, and if I don't get in contact with them and get a resolution, then I will have to take them to small claims court to get my money back. That's too much money to lose on a completely defective product.

edit: nevermind, hotbodies called and it's all good now
