Oh we gonna play that archaic Ford vs Chevy game like a buncha dumb hicks? šŸ¤·šŸ»ā€ā™‚ļøšŸ¤£ They beat out Cayote every day. And vice versa.. Same with Elceram, Reds, LRP, HW, blah, blah, blah.. The smallblock Chevy went for 50yrs with minimal changes.. When something works well, it doesn’t require going back to the drawing board every 6mos… That being said however-I feel we are overdue for the ā€œlatest and greatestā€ that Tekin can offer. I literally made a thread about it less than a month ago now. šŸ˜Ž

Yep.. and nowadays they are all junk no matter what name plates on the grill 🤦

Me and you could bs about this and that for ages though.

No they didn’t-The Campbell’s bought the business turnkey right around 1990.. Bob has been gone forever..šŸ¤·šŸ»ā€ā™‚ļøšŸ¤£
huh... that's not what i heard. of course iv heard a few different stories, so... but i do remember a time in the 90's and early 2000's where it seemed impossible to find them anywhere. maybe that was a regional distribution thing (?) heard stories from more than one person that they were out of business.
i was also told by a person "in the know" (take that with more than a grain of salt) shortly after Tekin started making brushless stuff that it was basically a new company with new ownership and had nothing to do with the Tekin of the past.

there's also this that i remember reading, and some of it coincides with some of what i was told in about 2004ish(?)

idk maybe you can shed of light on that. wouldn't mind hearing your story. see if any of it coincides with any of the stories iv been told in the past almost 30 years.

Nah-I don’t want to bring anything out regarding Kevin that’s not already been shared. He had a rough go, and I’m not gonna condemn the guy by speaking out of turn. We were very happy with his stuff the entire time we ran it. The Campbell’s have done a helluva good job with Tekin since they took over, and I’ll just leave it at that. We are overdue for a fresh 1/8 ESC though..šŸ˜‰šŸ¤·šŸ»ā€ā™‚ļø
