Not sure. A local regional racer runs them and they are great. Thinking about upgrading the servo in my B74 anyways so I can run high voltage. Since I'm running like a 10 year old servo in it lol

I want to see what other people use. I believe most people use ProTek, savox, Xpert, reedy, and there's a few other brands I probably forgot lol. Might just stick with what I have since it serves me well. Don't really need a high voltage one. But if I do get a 2wd bug, then yes I'll pick up a newer servo of some kind.

I keep seeing ProTek pop up but they seem REAL pricy to me.
I don't mind spending IF I'm getting something for it other than pretty paint and a name! Maybe they really are worth it tho.
I'm no pro racer so I'm not sure I'd ever get to the point of needing a super servo or if I'd ever use it to its full potential.
Same with a lot of the esc's with all the data logging...
I don't really care for computers. I don't feel like they belong in r/c. Our radio systems and pre "smart" equipment is fine for me...
I want a GOOD esc. Not remotely interested in paying for all the "EXTRA FEATURES". Its like paying extra for bloatware on a cell phone imo.
Not sure where I can go for GOOD without bluebloat, spy-gle and all the rest arent involved.
This esc looks like it has the stuff I want and none of the "bloat".
Says Phend runs these esc's.

NitroPro, or Tekin. Used to be a huge proponent for Hitec. One servo you’ll never catch me with is Pro Modeler. Not big on Reefs either.

I am curious to know what happened here, if Phend indeed DOES use this gear AND if Paypal makes this right (if needed).
THIS is why I am leary of online sales, just generally speaking.

They are solid and a bit pricey. I run ProTek in nearly everything and have had no issues - crawling, speed run, bashing, not racing though.

I'd wait for the sales and see what you can find.

As that post said, maybe a deal "too good to be true". IF those servos ARE good AND you get them reasonably close to when ordered... They WOULD have been a great deal!
Its not like I have all that extra cash burning a hole in my pocket either.
The deal presented itself, you know?
