I believe that's the split ring type with the allen screw to close it down. Not very accurate, but after ruining several sleeves, you could probably get a satisfactory pinch.

Does anybody know if there is a way to pinch you're own sleeve? Or if there is a quality sleeve pincher available?

I've used the one mentioned in this thread (the ebay link). You literally have to have a delicate touch when using it. Literally just BREATHE on the wrench. It doesn't take much.

Racer 1966 is correct. A TRULY accurate one consists of 3 machined dies and a press. You're much better off letting a pro do it. It's an inexpensive and effective fix for a worn engine.

For $25, www.rayaracing.com will get it done and get it done right. I recently had him do a mild pinch on 3 sets. Did a nice job on all 3. Also polished the tops of the pistons when he was working on them.

He does sell his stuff, but as mentioned, it's a bit spendy. If you had a shop/LHS or something, you could definitely get your money back or make many nitro friends by purchasing. But beings I only spend about $50 a year getting it done (if that) for myself or my friends, having him do it works out fine for me.

I wrote up a pretty detailed thread on the before/after of my most recent sets I had done.
