Out running my power wagon after some upgrades, wife took a turn on the remote and decided she would like to have a truck. I was pretty stoked and had already been looking. Now a quick question, are the wheels on the base camp a bead lock like most crawlers? Read several descriptions and did not see a detailed description that indicated for sure. Thanks, figured someone here has one and would know. It should be here in a week or so, will be perfect for her I think.

No, but aftermarket beadlocks and tires are reletively inexpensive. The base camp is a "Base Model" no frills.

You shouldn't have said anything until AFTER you had it in the house! @Doom! is a sucker for a pink RC! He's been known to try to distract unsuspecting rc's with shiny ballons and jiggy keys to try and swipe a fellers crawler! 😲
I hope you have a porch cam!
( and I hope you post the video here too!!!) 🤣
Good luck with your new RC! 👍

My wife never buys pink stuff but when I was getting the Ascent Scout II she decided on the pink Ascent 18 since she has the Gen8 Scout in 1/10.

She doesn't love it like I do, usually about 45 minutes is enough for her but she has no problem curling up in the car or in a camp chair with a book while I keep playing.

Sometimes Mrs. Doom comes along and reads to keep me company too. :thumbs-up:

My wife is interested as long as her rig can keep up with the others😉. As to how long she will run at at time? We will see, but another rig is a good thing.

My wife isn't interested, but she doesn't mind. She actually supports it. She actually just bought me an Amazon gift card for our anniversary because she knew there were some parts I wanted to order (the new Meus axels)

That's awesome that you're wife is into these. Have fun together

Every now and then I can get Mrs. Doom to drive, and once she does she enjoys it. She just tells me it's not her thing. She's always afraid she's going to break something. She completely supports it though. :)
