We never put high mileage on our cars, they always question the mileage when we sell them. ;)
Then there's the wife and me. Due to work, we both put over 20k per year on each of our vehicles

Oh hey @Doom! - if you get enough miles on it to need a catalytic converter replaced, just sell it. My friend's 2012 Outback just went into the shop and they want $1500 to put new ones on. I told her my entire exhaust system on my '90 Mustang with long tube headers didn't cost that much. That's just crazy.
Subaru parts are actually a blatant rip-off, especially if the dealer does it. In the case of the exhaust, the cats are easy to replace. You can drop the entire exhaust, with it on a lift, in 10 minutes. For the cats, take out a total of 9 bolts and they fall on your head. For a 2018 legacy, the cats, from Walker Exhaust, are $650. The entire exhaust, which can be replaced in a driveway with ramps in the front and jackstands in the back, can be done for less than $1000 in parts. Dont get me wrong, i really do like Subaru vehicles, but i dont like the insane mark up.

We put under 40k on our vehicles in 10 years. We pretty much just commute to and from work, plus we car pool, and errands around town and maybe a trip to the coast. We don't do a lot of travelling.

Can we trade lol. More in the summer, but i easily put 3000 miles on a vehicle in a month most months. My GF doesn't drive though, so i do all the driving for all of us, which adds up quickly.

Hi Doom,
Pretty nice pic... Especially if you have winter in your area...

Thanks, we don't get much weather, but we do intend on taking it up to the foothills. just a little more reassuring than a sedan. :)

Yeah... But now, with the climate changes, you will really appreciate this suby with freezing pellets or something like freezing rain.
I remember of a drive test with a buddy and a 1999 Impreza 2,5 RS with a stick... Wow. The car was noisy with rattles, but what a thrill in the snow. ..

With my son going for his driver's license Monday and my oldest coming home from college in a few weeks, it was time for a 5th vehicle at the X residence.
2023 Impreza in premium trim. Including a 5yr bumper to bumper warranty, it came just slightly over $29k.
When my daughter comes home from school, the Toyota minivan will go to my son, and she will be inheriting my 2018 Honda HRV that now has over 91k. My middle child, whose a junior in HS, is currently driving my old 2011 Corolla that just went over 208k. Wifey just got a 2023 Forester back in January.

Nice! 😍

We just picked up a couple of 2023 Imprezas for delivery vehicles at work. I'm lovin' my Crosstrek, Mrs. Doom still won't trade me. Of course right after I get my Crosstrek they announce that it is now available in the Wilderness edition.

I was pretty set on a Crosstrek premium, and the dealer actually had a 2024 in stock in a beautiful, new red color. However, the premium no longer comes standard with side view mirror defroster, and to now get that option it comes bundled in a package that's an additional $2,400 😠 Also, they redesigned the cargo area and now it's a bit more cramped.
After much debate, I'd opted for the Impreza. Hopefully, I won't regret my decision comes winter time again. But, for right now, I'm really digging my new ride!
I really, really want to get these wheels for it!

But, I want to get the windows tinted and a tow hitch first.
