I got a AE GT2 and what I believe to be a Losi Speed-NT from craigs list last night. Both were filthy, especially the AE. Me and a buddy got the Losi to fire up pretty easy and are only experiencing minor issues keeping it running. But it's quick, snappy, and quite agile. The AE was in the worse shape being obviously rode quite hard and put away wet. It's got compression, just wont fire up. So a full tear down and cleaning is underway on it. It's amazing how similar these cars are, they look identical. I got both cars, one radio, extra tires and wheels, a bag full of A arms, couple partial gallons of fuel, and some other stuff and only paid $200 so I'd say I did alright.

Did you get them for free. I have a losi xxx-nt and I love it, it handles perfectly for me anyway, if the speed nt is anything like the xxx-nt it should be epic because its even faster

Paid a couple hundred for them total. Ones a pull start and one a roto. Will probably sell the ae and keep the losi.

The one on the left is the losi isn't it? If it has 2 speed its a speed nt and if its a single speed its an xxx-nt like mine. If it is you'll want to tighten the differential, makes it handle better.

I have a Speed-NT, that thing is wicked fast. Give me a close-up shot and I'll tell you if that's what it is.

Quick lil sob ain't it! I have to get it fine tuned. Its shutting off after running for 10 minutes or so and temps don't seem to be out of whack either. Gotta love this hobby.

You should definetly throw away the fuel since you don't know how old it is and how it was stored. If you're having the same problems with the engine then you know it's not the fuel. Just my 2 cents, Steve

If it's not a speed-nt and is a xxx-nt, I'd get rid of it and keep the RC10. RPM makes arms/bumpers for the RC10, but not for the xxx-nt. For a basher, RPM is almost a necessity and the xxx-nt is more of a track vehicle. I broke countless arms/towers/axle carriers on my xxx-nt back in the day.

The pic is too small to see the details, but if that is a SNT, it has a ton of aftermarket parts, and that's not the Losi 3.4 engine that would come stock. Plus, there's no wheelie bar. Look at the battery box on the rear, if there's no mounting holes below it for the wheelie bar, it's a XXX-NT.

Now before you dump it, you can make it a SNT if you want, just grab the SNT trans, and a Losi 3.4 engine off of eBay. But unless you are pavement drag racing, there's no point. It's too fast and too loose to race or bash on dirt.

Not sure of what I'm going to do. With eith of them yet. Only want to keep one. The losi runs, the ae is cleaned up but I havnt messed with getting it running yet. The losi motor says Mach on it if that means anything.
