Just as a reference, mine does the following (on the box, all wheels off the ground):

rotating both rear wheels forward, the following happens:
-center diff spins ccw (looking from rear to front)
-both rear and forward drive shafts also spin ccw (looking from rear to front)
-front wheels spin forward

While holding both rear wheels locked and spinning the right front wheel forward, the center diff spins ccw and the opposite front wheel will spin in the opposite direction.

Simplify.

Put the car on the ground with the engine off (not running)

Push the car forward slowly

Does the center diff rotate? Yes or no.

not really confusing VB, you've got it! if your vehicle is assembled correctly and both left and right tires are spun forward, all wheels will spin forward.

militarymaxx and VB layed it out for ya. what are the results!!?!?

I checked and the rear diff was placed in backwards. DUH! Lol I followed Ofnas suggestion as the person I spoke to was pretty smart and told me to spin the cpur gear clockwise from the front and whatever diff is not spinning forward that is the diff to look at!!! Finally!!!

Thanks all. You guys rock!!

excellent. glad to hear you got it going. also, thanks for not leaving us hangin with the reply. happy racing!

Ok check this out. I got all the wheels to spin in one direction now!!! BUT when I put the engine in the rear and front spin opposite to each other. I called OFNA and they said my gear mesh on the spur gear and clutch bell is too tight? How the hell does that work? Can someone please explain this to me and how do I fix this. I played with the gear mesh and I can't get it right. Damn OFNA. Design a kit but no dierctions. WTF. Tell ya this much this is the last kit I get from them till they improve this.

Read back to my post, this is what I last said in action.

If the spur is locked, the center diff is permanently engaged (or disengaged, whichever you call it) and the F/R wheels will spin in the opposite direction.

To set the gearmesh: (if the hyper-7 runs riser plates, i'm pretty sure it does. Also, use threadlock on every engine mount screw)

1. screw down the riser plates from the engine mounts onto the chassis nice and tight.

2. screw the engine mount blocks onto the engine nice and tight.

3. place the engine with the mounting blocks attached onto the riser plates on the chassis, and screw in the 4 large screws to hold them together, with threadlock, but dont tighten them yet.

4. Place a small strip of plain A4 paper between the spur and clutchbell, and squeeze the engine against the spur so the paper gets tightened down. This keeps the spur and clutchbell exactly the right amount apart.

5. Tighten down the main screws nice and tight.

6. Pull the paper out, and roll the car to check its all smooth when rolling.
