Pathetic Hobby Shop Service.! ARGH!!

Hey all, just thought i'd report the latest. Parts for my buggy FINALLY came in after about a month. I ordered 2 front lower a arms, 2 front shocks and 6 body clips. $170AU!!! WTF?!?! I ring up very pissed off and ask them, they say oh the body clips come in packs of 10, and are $9.95 a pack and your ordered 2 packs of each type. (Three types on my buggy, meaning they think i wanted $60 worth of clips, 10 per pack). I say, um no ordered 2 body clipsof each type, so 6 all up. I did not know they came in packs of 10, i ordered 6 clips, NOT 60. So told them i wasn't paying for all that. Now, i dont know what they charged for the A Arms, but the shock i do. I ordered 2 shocks, they got in 2. No problem there apart from the fact they want $70 for them. $35 a shock?! Are you F-ing kidding me?! So after the huge wait, they horrificlly over-charge me! Tommorow they will cop and earfull when i get my parts. Never buying from them again and they will know about it soon.
Pathetic......No other word describes their service. Man I'm pissed!!

Did you ever think that it could very well possibly be your fault or at least partly at fault, since you ordered 6 not knowing that it was gonna be 60. & You also mentioned that you didn't have a clue that the shocks were goning to be $35, don't you think that you should check on that kinda stuff before you order anything !: & Also BTW, getting pissed about it and never going there again isn't going to hurt them in any way shape or form because I'm quite certain that your not there only customer and #1 source of income !:

No taz, the ordering was done through the supplied booklet that came with the buggy. It has NO PRICES whatsoever for anything at all. And of course they couldnt tell me the prices untill they ordered them.. The body clips had a part number and a picture of two, no hint that it was a packet.. And it isnt an LHS, its toyworld. They stock about 4 Rcs.Decent ones anyway.. My idea isn't to hurt them, but it saves my wallet.. They tried to have an RC track and club but it didnt take off as there was nowhere near enough members.. So they dont sell a lot of rc gear, plus they know me. And hopefully will notice i'm gone lol..

Well, your 1st mistake was not looking it up on the internet your & your 2nd mistake was buying from a place called 'Toyworld' !: yeah, you would think that they would ntice you if you were gone, but somehow I have a feeilng that they probably won't.....unless somehow your related to them, even then I'm not sure !::jk:

The site was included with my buggy instructions and it doesn't even list my buggy on there!!
Well the nearest proper LHS was 2 hours away PLUS it had an E-MAXX and thats about it. Good prices for stuff though. He got me clutch bearings on the spot, mmm LOSI bearings..I will be ordering from him from now on, see how that goes..

Found a site called RcHobbies. Good prices, but of course they dont have my buggy -.- I've ordered a couple of universal parts ( fits anything) and its been a month and nothing!! So grr again..
