I stripped a counter clockwise threaded nut... well basically i kept tightening it instead of loosening it...Savage 25. But funny thing is i ended up running the rim and the hole got over sized and went over my nut.

Anyone ever do this before? I'm going to try to melt it back.

Yea it stinks, its like a never ending parts list for this thing! But i did buy 2 new rims last night along with some other parts.................

take the left thread nuts and put a dot of paint on them and then put a dot of paint on the end of the axle. that way you always remember that they are left thread.

I bought new rims, since i got the engine yesterday i feel more impaient. lol

on the Savage just remember to 'undo' in the forwards direction of rotation ;)

that's assuming you've got a correctly built truck... some ppl end up swapping
axles from L to R when they build an SS or rebuild their RTR - most annoying!

the nuts are also black vs chrome :)
