well i wanted to buy a new savage and went to the lhs and found a used one for 225.00 and i bought it it has a xtm 24/7 motor that is brand new only 1 guart through it and thats only the begining of break in took it home and ran it and finished breaking it in and wow its super fast but i dont think its shifting into 1st its kinda boggy at first and the low speed is perfect so i think i will check it out tommorrow and see let me know what i should up grade first (it also has the steel spur and clutch bell and tires ) what else do i need to get right away let me know please:wasted:

go through it thoroughly and let us know what it has. check things like servos, battery box, steering setup, failsafe, airfilter,

which rig is it? 21, ss, 25 ,ss 46.?

Have the wheels been changed? If you still have the stock gt5 wheels, I'd change those out, they have a tendency to round out the hexes.

well iw ent through it completally and found nothing wrong with it i had to change the pipe to a 8th scale pipe and i put a hump pack in it right away also the servos that are in it are farely good servo so i took it out last night and ran it for a while the only thing was i had to tune it really bad but that isnt a problem other then that i need the new cam style servo saver and i think thats it as for the tires it had maxx mulchers on it but i put BIG JOES on it right away (its only being used for bashing right now untill race season comes) i had to fix a few little things that where rigged up due to the EX owner but after a lttle TLC it runs really great and super fast for such a bug truck i will update after tommorrow when i take it back out

Holy poop, can you say run on sentence?? The period was invented for a reason man! Use it! :whip:

its a forum man.. and if you can't take a breath and try and translate someones less grammatical type, than maybe you should do some thinking.

i have rc on the brain i have no more time to think about a period if i do then i might miss something (lol) well i just put the cam style servo saver in today and it steers better then be4 then i found the front pin holder was broke so i put a new one on right away..... how do i tell if i have the spider diff mod with out tearing it all apart because i think my rear diff is going out after an hour and a half of beating the living $h!t out of it but its still running strong

The way I found out mine was going out was when I tried accelerating, I would hear the engine rev but the savage was barely moving.
