We journeyed to the hobby shop 2 hours away for some two speed parts for my cousin. While there I saw something crazy. This old man walks in, looking like he barely could afford the clothes on his back, I mean this guy was HAGGARD! walked in like he owned the place, lol said he wanted the XTM X-Factor, four wheel steering conversion, upgraded all suspension parts, a bigger cooling head, bigger and wider wheels and tires with spinners, and much more. His total was $800 bucks and that's not including labor cause he doesn't do his own work. Gave the man $800 bucks and said he'd be back Friday to pick up his truck completed. We talked tot he guy further more. The got into the hobby by purchasing a X Factor in good condition at a flea market for like $175 and a NTC3 with 2 extra engine for another $200. Having a total of 13 trucks and cars I figured this guy doesn't need a 2nd X-Factor not to mention he had a Twin titan as well. Man this guy had the nitro bug bad! He had been hit by the nitro bomb. It's just a crazy story thought I'd share. I'm gonna get his number and maybe buy some stuff from him in the future maybe.

I sure wish that i was his son!!!!!!!HAHA I could use some more toys!!!

Man i wish i was that guy. I would have more cars but my parents are divorced and i live with my mom and my dad suports me in rc. But my mom doesn't like it that much and she would be pissed if i got another one. But my dad is cool he will always suport me in anything i do. But i wish my mom was like this old guy then i would have so many cars.

"OLD" IS WHEN... Your sweetie says, "Let's go upstairs and make love," and you answer, "Pick one, I can't do both!".

"OLD" IS WHEN... Your friends compliment you on your new alligator
shoes.... and you're barefoot.

"OLD" IS WHEN... A sexy babe catches your eye and your pace-maker opens the garage door.

"OLD" IS WHEN... You are cautioned to slow down by the doctor instead of by the police.

"OLD" IS WHEN... "Getting a little action" means I don't need to take any fiber today.

"OLD" IS WHEN... "Getting lucky" means you find your car in the parking lot.

"OLD" IS WHEN... An "all-nighter" means not getting up to pee.

Judgeing by your picture, your not old lol. I mean this guy had a beard down to his mid stomach and it was white. Last person I'd ever guess to be ordering thigns such as this.

Maybe it was Santa getting an early start on a members wishlist.
Well if Santa is seen out in the open anytime before Christmas some member isn't getting his present. He's bigger than me but I think I can take him. I'm just kidding, I'm not that cruel.

Sounds like my dad. Retired with virtually no bills and has been bitten by the RC bug.

Here is a list of what he has: (at least the ones I can recall)

E-Maxx, Original T-Maxx, T-Maxx 2.5, X-Factor, Terra Crusher, Savage SS, Mad Force, 4-Tec, LD3, XXX-NT, Hilux, Avante, Vanning, Rough Rider, and tons of various tires and wheels as well as and extra 2.5 engine and Sirio .18. Both extra engines still in the box.

His Mad Force is hopped with tons of New Era chit.
