Hey guys, just got a used redcat huricane xp nitro car free (the best of all). well the car has been sitting in the shelf for like 2 yrs. i did some blowing and cleaned the gas tank and air filter, also checked for loose bolts and nuts, everything is ok.

what else can I do before get this thing running:first_place::first_place:?

Remove the glow plug, test it, and while it's out shoot a little WD in the cylinder and turn the flywheel by hand to loosen things up.

Shoot a bit of wd40 in the hole for the glow plug rotate the engine by hand a little to make sure its free then turn it upside down and let the excess run out.Depending how it was put away you can do this now or if you have trouble with it starting or running issues disassemble the carb soak it for about 30min in fresh fuel or denatured alcohol then blow it out good the least bit of old gummed up fuel in any of the passages can play hell.Good luck with your bran used car and let us know how it goes. Oh make sure you got fresh batteries for the radio.:D
