It's a 1/8th RTR and comes with a .21. 4wd and everything. Any information about it? I'm thinking about grabbing one at the lhs and wanted to know about it first.
My buddy has one. The only problem with it is the axles - they are the skinny 6mm axles and they bend like crazy. I felt bad about that since I didn't think they would bend so quickly. He has since converted to MBX suspension and 8mm axles.
The engine is sort of a mismatch for the buggy. My buddy has swapped engines with his Savage. The Savage is much happier with the .25.
Well I can get the LX for 269 here... I'm not sure so far. It won't be a bashing buggy, It'll be a racing buggy for down at the local track. And.... .25??? Hmmm..... will an OS .21 fit in it? Or are there rebuild parts? Is it worth 269?
Would it be a decent racing buggy stock? What would I have to do to make it a dominating force here? By the way... the local guys here... well they aren't that good from what I've seen. Now the ones to catch will be this summer. When 2wd racing season hits.... But I want open.. Where 1/8 and 1/10's race together. Anything is legal in his Open race. And the LX looks to be a good idea.. Will it be for racing? Not bashing... That's what the RC10 is for
Hmm.. Well it comes RTR with the radio.. And I'm not sure yet. I like it, but I wanted to know how it would do. And the racers around here don't usually buy too high of priced things. If I come in the top three of the open in summer.. That's good damned enough for me. I'll snag it up then.
