ofna mini failsafe on Lightning RR

I have a Lightning RR and i got an ofna mini failsafe and after i installed it i noticed that there is a huge amount of wiring left all over. Could someone show me a pic of how they made this look clean or how they mounted the failsafe... Thanks.

Get some SMALL zipties to clean up loose wires.

Basically, I wrap the excess wire around my smallest finger tip and then ziptie it. Think of it as wrapping up a flat garden hose perfectly.

ZipTies will some day rule the earth hehehe

Cable Ties are one of those things that you can never have too many of. When you find one of them clear plastic containers with the screw cap for a great price, you simply MUST purchase them.

It's like blank CDR and DVDR media. Who doesn't want a shelf with stacks and stacks of blank media just waiting to be used? =)

the nice thing about 1/8 buggies is that most have a box (or 2) where you put the reciever, batteries, etc. ziptie, or cabletie (whatever that is ), the wires and stick them in the box.

You should be able to bundle the excess near the plug and tuck it away into the radio box with a small ZIPTIE with no problem. Nice and clean installs are a must.

With my storm, since the radio box is also the battery box, I have lined the inside of the box with this pink foamish stuff that is used for packing. It's thin. Makes a perfect little bed for the radio stuff, and it's kinda plastic-like so water doesn't get past it. It's certainly not a sealed box but it helps.

I can't really cable tie anything in there because it's so snug (even without the foam) that I have to kind of run the excess cable around the radio and stuff. So, that's something you could do instead of using:
