Official: West Coast Bash Sept 9th and 10th Reno NV

I plan on getting into town around midnight Friday. Brian I will call you on your cell when I get into Reno, and see if you are up for hitting the tables and some drinks.

I'm hoping we can hit the track by 8 or 9 and start running before the weather gets too hot.

Since the track will be occupied by the locals at 4, we can head back to downtown at that time and grab a nice dinner. We can figure the rest of the party out then.

I have a starterbox for both of our mbx5s, and one for the hyper. There is no power at the track. Eddy can you bring your inverter? I can run my Triton off the car battery if need be. I'll also bring a power supply to charge packs back at the hotel room.

Brian, If you want to ship everything to my place that's cool. You know Dom, he will be going by this HUGE flea market (Denios) on the way up to Reno,You know which one it is Dom, And when he needs parts, or when the urge hits him, he will do almost anything for more rc parts. He has been selling alot off the site, as you have seen, So I would think twice about sending anything down his way.

On second thought I already tried that with your buggy before you got it. Did you notice the slight drift to the left from the chassis being tweaked?

Check with the hotel, they may have a free shuttle. Remember the hotel isnt making any money off of you until you get there. Its in their best interest to get you there ASAP.

Z..fasteddy is right, If you call the hotel and let them know what time your flight arrives they will send a shuttle for you. That's how it was a while back when some friends came in. I will double check and see if they still provide the service.

Dang!! That's what it is. I just thought with these high end buggys you have to follow behind it walking swiftly to the right to keep it on track!

2- starterboxes, one set up for MBX5, one for Hyper 7
2 glow ignitors
2 fuel bottles
3 gallons of fuel- 30% byrons and 30% werks
All of my RC related hand tools
Fast orange hand cleaner and shop towels.

Found out some news from our new local shop today. You can get fuel from this guy for smoken prices.

20% Sidewinder $18.99
20% Odonnell $20.99

30% Sidewinder $27.99

These are all 1 gallon prices. Never ran Sidewinder fuel, so don't know about that one. This way, the guys flying in will have some idea of fuel cost. Cause I know there not gonna let you take it on the plane. If you want the 30% you are going to have to order soon, so it will be here for the weekend bash. He says he can get it in about 3 days depending on what time of day he orders it. I am for sure coming up on Friday the 8th now instead of the next morning. I added the 8th to my room reservation to make things easier on myself.

I will be leaving Napa by 7:00 (shooting for 6:00) at the latest and should be in Reno around 10:00 or so.

Less than a week to go.
