Well i just got a new job yesterday, and I've got major summer events coming up so in order for me to make it,i need a date at least a month ahead of time.

Well It looks like we need to agree to a time to set. I want to be at this event. I will see if another Mod and a few other members can come.

But a place needs to be agreed upon!!!

Well let's see,There's bill's house,Or where else, did we manage to find another track and or place besides?

A video eh? Well, okay, but no laughing at my MBX's fugly body (I painted it after staying awake for 24 hours, in 45 degree weather).

I'd prefer Nor Cal, but southern oregon would work just fine. I still have yet to call my buddy, who knows the owner of Boomtown... He also knows a ton of possible bash spots. There's one in Red Bluff thats' a motocross track, I believe.

I'll get ahold of him tomorrow, if he's back in town, and see if he can get ahold of the guy, and see if he'd allow us to use the track (as long as we don't damage it, of course).

I'll also try to get ahold of the people that I used to know in Klamath, and see if they're still around... it's been years since I've talked to 'em, tho, so I dunno.

I'll narrow down a candidate tomorrow, and see if I can get pics of it.

Any word on the norcal tracks?

Well, I got ahold of my buddy, and he said that the Boomtown track is possible, however, we'd need to clear it with the owners, which I believe is the City of Shasta Lake Commerce Department.

Outside of that, I'm none-too-sure. I'll be talking to my friend again tomorrow, and ask about possible bash spots in and about this area. The LHS is so far the best bet, outside of possibly Boomtown.

Keep in mind; it's a BMX track, and it's ran-on alot during the summer months. They may or may not allow us to bash there.

Hey Heartbreak,

Do you have any pics of the track complete?Only see the action shots with the riders.

6 hours, 49 minutes from my house to that BMX track... dayum. I'm not really sure how to make it equal for everyone considering there are a bunch of people in Mid CA and some of us near Washington. That is one BIG drive.

Trust me dude..seeing as that the bash will be up north it will be a trek for me as well. Come on.. Ed actually made the trip from cali to the east coast for a bash. That is just insane. Then again...he is a a little nuts.:hehe:

whoa.... thats crazy! LOL well, we'll figure something out. If it ends up being to far for some people, maybe we can split it up or something for the people who can't travel that far. That way, maybe we can have 2 bashes, west coast and locals.

Isn't there a large RC track near Shasta? In any case anyone who presents this to a hobby shop it would be good if you could tell them we have ROAR memberships for the insurance. If you're not a ROAR member it is a good idea to have a membership just for the insurance.

There is a track in a small mountain town called Paradise. I've ran there before, a few years back. It's very nice, however, you have to re-tune your carbs from the elevation change alone. Since I've ran there last, they've doubled it, and I hear they've ran an RC Pro series event on it. This one is 70 miles south for me, just outside of Chico, CA (college party town!).

At the moment, I don't have a picture of the entire Boomtown track, but I'm sure I can get one, after this weekend. This weekend is just insane... After I do post-yardsale cleanup, I'll see if I can borrow some wheels to drive up to CSL and snap off a few shots. I'll also see if I can track down the organizer, and see if he'd be cool with us running there.

Edit, forgot to mention; Paradise is a Roar track.

Possible Bash Spot

Okay so some friends took me to a 4X4, quad, motorcycle bashing sports park. and this place is huge, it is nice and open with tons of jumps.
their are all kinds of things to do, Their are all kinds of jumps and things. And you their is a huge quad jump that would be awsome for a big air jump. Hell theri is even a spot were we could do a rock crawling thing and thier are ponds so people could even do boats. plus the RC track is only a few miles away.

Just thought I would through that out their.

there is a track in palm desert it is owned by the hobby town usa store
call and see if you can get the track. i am sure you can its just been redone about 3-4 months ago. call and ask for bob he is the owner 760-341-5699
and see what he says

That one sounds good. I've just been too busy to get the 5 minutes to call the owner of Boomtown. I'll try to do it this monday morning. I'm not sure what they'll say.... They'll probably want money, so that right-off will probably be a mark in the 'no' column.

Is that the one off of Blackwell Road or the actual sports park in White City?

Anything going on with this idea guys? Date, time, anything?

The sports park, I think.

I was more happy about all the sweet things and rides we were going to do, to worry about what the place we were in.

I was talking to nevnitro about a track that recently opened in Reno. When he gets back from vacation he's supposed to post pics.

At this point let's try to nail down a date. My vote goes for a weekend in August or September.

Reno is cool with me. It would be nice to get away for a few days and have some great nightlife to along with it.

Need to avoid Hot August nights in Reno, never get a room.

Sept. trip to Reno would be cool.

The last 2 week's of july i can't go anywhere,I've got motocross and caitering to do.
