I like tarant's idea,The biggest issue I'm having right now is,My car isn't exactlly finished, both r/c and 1:1,so the closer to me would bennefit,I'm kinda afraid to drive my dad's car, unreliable but if we could find a spot like middle way or something to that effect,i would most likelly be able to show up,i menchioned something about me driving down to cali to my mom and she laughed at me.so cali for me,is outta the question.Ill have to play it by year though,I'm trying to get a new job right now and hour's and date's are gonna be hell come summer for me,so i probablly won't be able to join till the last minute(2 week's till date).

I'm up for a west coast bash. I'd prefer the track, so if we break we can get parts. Or bash at a location that has a LHS close by. I'm in San Jose, but would be willing to drive up to 300 miles, more if we can caravan it. August and September of this year would make good months, we'd still have warm sunny weather. Just my 2 cents.

Well, I have a recommendation for a bash spot... They're rumored to be putting in a track at the LHS, can't get more handy than that.

And there's a casino less than a mile away.

If that doesn't work out, there's a BMX track called Boomtown in the area, I have a friend that knows the owner.

Is there a list of LHS and track's for the west coast? Does anybody have one?
I know of very little of track's in these area's right now,Now like Sweetdiesel said,Caravan might be the way to go,For adult's that is,but having Minor's it would be a differn't story, unless we find a group of people that are willing to meet half way,and make a list of who is concidering going and where,Heartbreak PM some info on this track,if anybody else has info on track's just shoot me a PM with a zip code.

I did some looking,There's a track in Medford,OR http://www.roguevalleyrc.com/

And there's also a track in grant's pass,Or and I'm pretty sure there's a track in Cottage Grove oregon, what do yall think? that's middle way.

Well, I know Canby isnt being fixed up yet because of the other new Amain track, but once it gets all set up, it is a very nice track. Maybe a little bit too north to be fair, but the RC pro series is held there every year. I would definitally go there. Just an option.

The track here in Medford is not complete. As you can see. it has been that way for months

I would like to join you all but it really depends on when. I have drill the first weekend of every month and distance may be an issue too. Northern Cal is about as far as I really can go at this point.

I am still talking it over with my wife. It is going to be a "mini vacation" for us as well. I get to bring my wife and my two boys. THe oldest is the only one able to play but he is still learning. I am teaching with the LST and my Revo soon.

I am not sure what my limitations are but whatever you guys come up with we all need to come together. I hear Northern cali and oregon. Who is up for this?Which one? Still in the air and again I am hoping for a big turn out! Hope to get a bash video going as well. I have a few more things for the people to attend but Lets keep the wheels turning!

A video eh? Well, okay, but no laughing at my MBX's fugly body (I painted it after staying awake for 24 hours, in 45 degree weather).

I'd prefer Nor Cal, but southern oregon would work just fine. I still have yet to call my buddy, who knows the owner of Boomtown... He also knows a ton of possible bash spots. There's one in Red Bluff thats' a motocross track, I believe.

I'll get ahold of him tomorrow, if he's back in town, and see if he can get ahold of the guy, and see if he'd allow us to use the track (as long as we don't damage it, of course).

I'll also try to get ahold of the people that I used to know in Klamath, and see if they're still around... it's been years since I've talked to 'em, tho, so I dunno.

I'll narrow down a candidate tomorrow, and see if I can get pics of it.

Any general thought's on the date,If i go I'm gonna have to know a date soon,Because i kinda need to pickup my license and insurance so i can go.

Buggyracer, jon, Tarant, other Oregon people, if you guys want to car pool or if it's in Oregon, count me in. I've only got a pickup but it's a Toyo king cab. Got plenty of places to park on my property, if you make it this far we can scoot on down to Norcal from here.

Don't count on the Medford track. Those guys used to be over on highway 99 and without bashing openly there are many difficulties with the people that run it, it's going to be difficult at best. I would not be surprised if it doesn't even come together this summer.

OK this is a really stupid idea but I have a **very** small track on my property, like a small oval with a couple jumps, and lots of room for camping. It's not too exciting but good for practice if anyone's interested. Been talking with one of my neighbors who owns a tractor with a loader bucket, I was planning on working the track over to make it a little more worthy. I can move up the schedule on that.

And I have a pool. :D If you do it in norcal and stop over, maybe a few practice runs is all it's worth. The advantage is that there would be no crap from neighbors, plenty of room to roll out bags and tents, and we can make all the noise we want during the day.

My little track is in this video. (12MB WMV) Was planning to bring it around the oak tree at the top, make some esses where the closest straight is, widen it on the other side.
