I will be down around 7-8p, PM me your cell number if we are all gonna hook up.

Fast Ed:

All my poop is packed and ready to go. I know I'm forgetting something I just don't know what. Is anyone bringing a video camera?

Man, you can tell this Bash is in California.......everybody's talking about having their poop packed.

J/K....I'm just jealous...... about the bash...not the poop packing.

Have fun!!

The bash was enjoyed by all.
Rob Blah and I met at the hotel on Friday night and swapped war stories.
Saturday morning everyone met up at Dennie's for breakfast and went off to the bash site. The picks don't do the site any justice whatsoever. It was a LARGE motorcycle track with many different terrains to choose from. HUGE hills, little jumps as well as big ones, large open space and a tract of large rocks about the size of baseballs. We concentrated most of the time jumping over a select few jumps. The ground was hard packed with a thick layer of fine dust over it. This made it slick as hell and prime for drifting. After the bash we spent an hour or so trying to find a way to get my truck out of the bash site. The evening was enjoyed at a casino among other places.

I have to say the group was made of top shelf people and I'm looking forward to getting together with them again with or without RCs.

I will have my picks up shortly.

Just about all that I can say is that was as good as it gets gentlemen! This was a bash that I will not be forgetting anytime soon. 4 ½ hours of carnage, maybe 3 out of the 11 R/C’s were still drivable. You know just minor stuff like shredded bodies, broken gas tanks, devastated front suspension assemblies, snapped-in-half ti pivot balls, roll cages that will never be the same again, pins falling out of places that that don’t have pins in them, 2 channel 90’s turned on at the same time, he, he, he and cva’s that did not work to begin with. Oh and I almost forgot about the toasted out-of-gas-engine LMAO!!!!

Mr. Einstein (me) still can’t figure why you guys couldn’t (in your normal vehicles) negotiate your way over a curb around a locked gate then aim your vehicles straight down a steep rock studded 20’ embankment only to have to travel a ¼ mile across a field to find out that you have to pass back down and up the other side of a 5’ deep rutted narrow gulley. You only need 4 wheel drive twice to get in and out of the place. It’s a good thing that we did not actually disassemble that fence. For all of you that were not there we did start to take a cyclone fence apart to get FastEddy’s truck out of the bash site. Fortunately robmob figured that all that we had to do was just drive around it!

I’d do it again at any time, anywhere with any or all of you again!

Stretch didn't mention that getting out of the site the way we got in was not 2WD friendly. Getting in was fine since it was downhill. No worries though. It is a great site to bash in. Plenty of room with varying terrain. Nice choice Stretch, thanks for doing the leg work in choosing a great site.

I had an awesome time and enjoyed meeting new friends. Looking forward to getting together again soon. After all, here on the west coast, we can get together for a bash any time of the year.

Here is my damage tally:
LST -
Broke both top and bottom front left arms and bent tie rod. (On the first jump! WTF?)

Savage -
Destroyed both front and rear sway bars. (Not good for jumping)
Destroyed the rear mounted dual tank and alum mounting bracket. (Lasted quite awhile until it landed on its rear and then it was done. Flung the fuel all over the truck.)
Pretty minor stuff since the items that broke were add-ons that the truck really didn't need. I could have kept running but opted to bust out the Revo.

Revo-
First off, this is one tough little truck. We had 3 of them out there and they took a good beating with no major damage.
Aside from body damage, I cracked my air cleaner housing and broke both the plastic ends on my rear shocks. That was it. I didn't even notice it until I got home and was blowing off all the dirt.
I am completley impressed with the Revo. Looks like Traxxas got it right this time.

MGT -
Got a little dusty sitting on the ground. (it is a shelf queen at this time LOL)

XS3 Radio -
Broken antenna when it fell off the work table.

Great bash guys!!! I had a blast for sure. I myself do not have a single picture. I had one vehicle and drove the entire day. I beat the living poop out of my REVO and I didn't break a single part! Ask the guys, I showed the REVO no love. It must have cartwheeled a total of 300 yards that day. More rushing yards than Faulk. Anyways Rob, Strech, Blah, and Ed, you are all great guys and I had a ton of fun that day, all the way into the night. We have to do this again. It would be a shame not to.

and yes, Robmob has the best stable of MT's I have ever seen.

He is not kidding. Out of all the trucks that were run, he by far abused his the most. It just would not break.
