Ratzo-In the Monster truck class, what is the break down for engine class? or is it a free for all?

Oh, there much more than Rolexes that can be had on Canal Street!!!!! The chick LOVES to pick up $1500 designer bags for $120-$200. Car electronics cannot be <legally> purchased for cheaper anywhere else in the US, bring cash$$ only. The only problem with Canal street is its distance to the rest of the city. If theres only 4-5 guys then no prob we get 2 cabs and were done. If there are more than that it would be tough to keep everyone together. Walking from Canal Street to 42nd is an all day event. ESPNZONE is actually pretty kewl. Planet Hollywood is *** IMO. Wouldnt mind going to the top of the Empire Sate building or Rockafeller Plaza.

I'm down for whatever, wherever. Since the bash is basically in my backyard.

Ratzo, I'll try calling you again today. I dont pick up restricted calls ya moose knuckle. :P

I don't think it's anything you should worry about.

As far as the restricted phone # goes, it's to stop telemarketers from getting my number.
It's something that I have to manually unlock before I make every call if I want to show my number.

So where we at? Is this the 4th annual ECB, or is it the first annual ECR? What time and where are we going to meet on Saturday? Are we going to run on saturday, or do the city thing? I am still soooooooo confused. If we are just racing, WoodiE please update my RCs to just the pcr. Ratzo, what are the fees for the track for race day? And if we are racing, is a roar membership required by the track?, and do the vehicles have to meet roar specs? Just curious man.

Hey TJ, you got any input on this? :loser:

Interesting, so you call the telemarketers? Do you call them at dinner time? :D

Me neither! Rat, you can go here: https://www.donotcall.gov/default.aspx and enter any numbers you want and they cannot call you. It's worked wonders for me, personally! Haven't received a telemarketing call in a long time!

I'm on the DNC list, but when you call to activate a credit card, call sears, or order from a company that has access to your number will call the poop out of you if you don't have your number blocked.
Anyway, back to the 24th.

We had it last year at trax and had a great time. So it would be the second "ECR".

We can bash or go to the city. It's up to the guy's coming from far away to decide. Time is not an issue.

The fee to race is no more than $25. I think it's $20, but don't quote me on that.
ROAR membership is not required.
Your truck does NOT have to meet ROAR specs.

The fee was $15 three weeks ago. You only have to be ROAR legal for a trophy race. ROAR membership(insurance) is not required.

OK, here's the deal... Unfortunately bash areas are limited in Ratzo's neck of the woods.. Basically all construction sites are "Private Property", and the few BMX tracks on the island are for bikes only. With that said, Trax70 is really where we want to be on Sunday.. After talking with Ratzo, there is something we overlooked. If we can all get to Trax70 early enough, say round 9am, the track is open for practice till racing starts around 12pm. That's a nice 3hr bash session.
Then round 12pm, we can all help each other out, shoot the poop & have some friendly competition between friends... Trax70 is really laid back and run by some of the nicest guys.. It's really all about having fun there, unlike some other tracks where everyone is scrambling in the heat of the competition.

As far as Saturday goes, I say we meet up in NYC, see some sites, then get some food.. We can leave early enough so everyone can get their sleep and be ready for Sunday. Sound like a plan?

Sounds good! So who is bringing the grill and let's make a food list so everyone can bring an item.

Crap!!

I forgot to find out if we can grill there.
I doubt it cause of all the dry grass, but I'll ask.

you should be able to grill there. we let them do it last year, and if you need a grill and i am back i will bring my grill from home, and i live about 10 min from the track.

I have a tailgate style grill I'll bring. Not the best, but it wont be a hazard sitting on my tailgate...
