Anybody ever use this brand of servos?

Trying to do the low budget build thing again. The full aluminum case JX servo that was on my wish list is now discontinued. So, I'm on the search for something similar and came across this brand while checking things out on the interwebs.

Never heard of them, but any more, it seems like the cheap ones on Amazon for example are all ok for the money. You find that on aliexpress?

Yes. The 45kg coreless servo is the one I have my eyes on. Less than $40 for a potential disposable servo has me wanting to take the plunge.

If you look at the low star reviews, it's clearly idiots that don't know they are the reason the servo is failing. Weak BEC's, no endpoints set, etc.
If you buy 2, they're $20 each, plus there's a 5% off coupon there.

I had originally thought OCServo was maybe trying to copy AGFrc servos or possibly had AGFrc make cheaper servos for them. Either way, I'm in the mood to gamble.

Yeah, I don't know. I'm already going against my spare gear set availability buying recommendations with the OCServo brand. At least I think OCServo does not have spare gear sets. I contacted them on that subject but have not hear back from them yet.

I would like my next low budget "strong" servos to, at least, have a full aluminum case. Reason being, I feel I've been pushing my luck with heavier off-road RC shenanigans and servos with plastic mounting tabs. Then again, at $20/servo... why you be twistin' my arm?

I have to see how long it'll last.

I stuck two of those Smraza's in my cart. I'm going to try one in the XXX-SCT and toss the other one in the MST drift car and see what happens. I'll toss them in my servo punisher first and see if the torque is accurate.

I'm sure they'll be ok. I have a cheap Amazon 35kg that's been going for a few years. It doesn't get used very often, but it works when we do run it.

I contacted the company, and they would send out spare gear sets upon request. I did not get a price though.

Having used the OCS-451HV servo onboard a 4wd SCT for a little over a month now (without servo saver), I'm pleased with its performance for the most part. Possibly the speed spec is not spot on as listed? Maybe it's in my head that the servo feels slower? I don't know. I don't fully trust specs and why I went overboard in torque value choosing vs. a servo with speed specified at 0.08 second.

Looking to buy a couple more and I now see price has gone up considerably on the OCS-451HV servo. A 62% price increase will make shopping decisions more complicated.

Check out injora. Been using them in my slash oval cars for a year now. Zero issues.

I use this one in a truck and a low profile one in a buggy.
