So, just got a brand new motor 3.3 from traxxas. After breaking it in I took it to some dirt to give it some gas. After about 5min of driving it the engine will rev when giving gas but the truck moves very slow. Is it the slipper cluth?

Its very possible. you may have gotten oil in the clutch and onto the shoes. Does the clutch turn but not the gears?

Only happened once but I have fried a clutch during breakin period. Have you looked at the clutch setup yet?
