i wanted to get a good battery charger but i again didnt wanna wait over and hr to get the job done and i was wondering what does any one suggest as a good reliable charger

well I'm not sure something around 5000 mah and prolly going to stick with the NiMH for a while and looking to get about 4 of them and looking around 500 for a budget for a charger

You dont need $500 for a charger bro. I have a duratrax onyx 235, it does the job pretty good. With a 5000 mah pretty your going to be looking at an hour to safely charge it. There is the Onyx 240 its basically the same as the 235 but it can charges 2 batteries at the same time.

same charge rate at 1 hour???

i have a hyperion with a power supply, it has 550w of power and can charge at 20 amps. more than enough for any on land rc car guy. have i ever used all that power, no. charging over capacity is not worth it in my opinion, instead of buying 1-2 batteries and charging them insanely quick, buy 5-6 batteries and charge them at capacity. your batteries will last longer and you won't have to worry about your house burning down due to high charge rates. best charger for you would be this http://www.maxamps.com/EOS0720i-NET3-AC-DC.htm
its ac powered so you won't need a power supply and it will charge a 4s battery at 1c perfect for a land rc driver
