Actually Chef, I'd go with the set-up SuperSavage posted ('cause I am, thanks a ton, man!) My MT had the same issues Super described; set idle to right setting, but when I hit the brakes it'd kill the engine.

When your truck is idling and on the ground, can you tell if the CB is actually spinning? Truthfully, I'm running out of ideas. We need some more brains thinking on this one!

The car runs great...but the only thing is when its stopped it moves on its own and pretty fast. I dont want to have to come to a quick stop on the street and then it goes off on its own and get run over by some unexpecting car. Get my drift.

When i brake everything is golden no movement and the car doesn't shut off. But when I'm off the throttle thats when problems arise. I'll try to post a video of it and show you whats up. Not sure how but i'll try lol.

My guess is that if you remove the arm from your servo and move it 1 (maybe 2) notches in a clockwise direction, your condition may improve. The spring clip in the stock servo arm assembly seems to be way too stiff for this application. That's why I junked mine. Here is a link to the parts on tower. Probably the most cost effective ($$$ for performance) mod you can do.

Thanks for that info

What is the broze piece that is connected to the brake arm?
I dont see it in the pics at tower.
.:BTW:. Thanks so much for the help. Hopefully by tomorrow i will have that setup up and running, that is if my LHS has it in stock.

Actually i looked again and my clutch bell is spinning withought pulling the throttle. Is that normal.

The brass parts are just locking collars to transfer the motion from the linkage rod to the brake arm. You may have to buy extra collars or sliders, depending on how you want to hook things up. If you take your car to the lhs with you, it may be easier to make sure you have enough stuff to complete it. (Thats why mine is all different colors, they are mostly leftover parts from other projects)

This should really help your problem because you will now have separate throttle / brake adjustments instead of trying to find that non-existant happy medium with the stock setup.
