hi just got my acme nitro nano started for the 2nd time since I've had it with a little help from you guys, now the car is running i have no connection with the hand set? there was no problem before. i have new batteries and when i switch on the car the steering sets its self so i know theres power there.
the lights are on on the handset.
when the car is started it runs flat out and i can't stop it?
i cleaned the car with wd40 then wiped it clean?

can anyone help please!

Does the throttle servo work with the car off?

It won't go full throttle unless the carb is open. Make all your checks of linkages and servos with the engine OFF.
When the throttle and brake are both adjusted properly, THEN you can start it and do the final tweaks.

no, there seems to be no connection? it worked ok last time it was used??

Is the transmitter a 2.4 GHz unit? If so, you may need to re-bind it to the receiver in the car.

okay...starting simple here. did you make sure the reciever is plugged in? is the Recvr battery fully charged?

Bypass the on/off switch. Plug the battery pack into the reciever where the on/off switch was plugged in. That will tell you if it is the switch. Fresh batteries may be a good idea. Alkalines in r/c cars is a bad idea. Not enough power to do the job properly.

i am using fresh batteries, when i switch it on the car wheels straighten up so theres power? how do i re bind it to the reciver in the car???

Is it a 2.4? Does your radio have a short stick antenna or a chrome extended rod antenna?
Binding is only for 2.4 systems, and if you don't have that, it's a different problem.
