Well before i was to anxious to run my car just to start it up it was running fine until i accelerated didnt mean to but i reved really high and alot too much and pop death of my car .i wanted to see it shift and it sure did ,mistakes happen and this is a little expensive one since i gotta buy a rod and pistonThat sux! I won't ask... But if you run your old piston in a new sleeve, you will have to replace both again when you rebuild again.
Also, not quite sure how that happened if you were too rich unless it was crazy rich. I will read the whole story if you take the time to type it all out. I am Def curious to know what happened and how.

I have the rods! You can check A- main hobbies or Tower hobbies if they have a rod.
I think that the 12's an 15's are the same ,the Ofna brands are ,but don't know
if Ofna fits the AE brand!
.12 and .15 are the same rod. I got a link to a-main above. I don't think ofna is the same.
I read that in pullstart applications the rod may need to be filed down for clearance on the backplate... I didn't really follow the thread or how it worked exactly. I didn't pay much attention to it... Maybe it was relevant. Anyways, awesome info to store away. Thanks @cbaker65 !!!
Ok. Again, I didn't really follow the point of the post exactly... He didn't make it clear as to what part of the rod needed to be dremel'd out.. Either way, very cool for you to offer @James NTC3 your excess stock!
