The once lowly Panthers, are on the rise!

...and the Patriots are exceeding my low expectations for this season.

I'm looking forward to watching the Lions this evening. I really like their coach and overall story the last few years.

I'm watching ESPN Get Up! and Rex Ryan dropped "Bullsh!t", uncensored!
He was commenting on Micah Parsons' publicly commenting last night, to the media, that Mike McCarthy "...can leave, go wherever he wants."

True story Xray. Jerry Jones isn't renewing his contract.
I see several changes that needs to be made. Not sure if McCarthy is one of them or not.

When you have that much talent and you are terrible, the blame has to go on the head coach. That is why, I'm still perplexed McCarthy is still there.
However, you don't publicly go on the air and air your dirty laundry! How does this, in any way, constructive and motivating to improve your situation?
Toxic!

I believe its Jerry Jones. McCarthy needs to go- maybe so- but JJ is a ego maniac. Let football people do football stuff. Just sign checks & kept hush. Like Arthur Blank- owner, founder, CEO of Home Depot, owner of the Falcons. They say he does nothing but sign checks, not micro-manage the football guys he's hired. Dallas is a soap opera you wish would get cancelled. Every episode gets worse.

The Cowboys problem isn't talent, nor is it the Head Coach... their biggest problem is, after Jimmy Johnson left, Jerry decided he could run a team as well as any head coach, and he's spent the time since proving how wrong he was. He just hasn't convinced himself yet. Between him and his son, they are in charge of players and player conduct. The Head Coach isn't involved in discipline, etc.

Having talent does you no good without cohesion (it is a Team sport), and unless you have a strong unifying force (that can (and will) hand out consequences), you just have a lot of guys competing for individual stats, and not for a team goal.

But, even with their abysmal showing year after year, if you look at the stadium on game day, every seat is filled.... THAT is what Jerry really cares about. Until that changes, nothing else will. In my opinion, of course.

Unlike other NFL owners, Jerry Jones put himself into an unusual situation, in that he's also the team's general manager. Yes, he has a massive ego! He believes he knows what's best for the team and picks who he wants on the team. So, any big loss, is a major strike to his pride.
I theorize that that's the reason why he hasn't let go McCarthy......because it isn't McCarthy's team.
