hello,
i'm new to the whole nitro r/c cars.i have also two old school Tamyia Eletric Trucks{a Monster Beetle and a Clod Buster}a few months back i purchased a DuraTraxx Max ST Truck.i followed the instructions to the key and watched the video.i played with it for awhile till the weather got bad and yesterday pulled it out of the carry bag for the first time in over a few months

i forgot to drain the leftover fuel in the tank{about a half tank}so,i primed it and tried to start it no go.i know the glow starter battery is good and the glow plug burns orange.so with the glow plug out and a rag over the top of the torq 16 motor,i prime it again and pull the cord a few times.no fuel is on the rag.

so,right away i knew i'm boned.i was going to purge the system completey, but the lines feel gummy and i don't have any extra fuel lines laying around that size.

so,what should i do?

Sounds like the left over fuel has gummed up the carb. You may need to pull the carb and rebuild it.

i had a feeling that was going to happen.should i have the hobby shop do it for me or do it myself?

i got it Runnig.i pulled out the glow plug and put a new one in,set the high speed needle to stock, sprayed starting fluid inside the motor, a few pumps pulls and she started right up.

i let it sit outisde and idle for 15minutes
