Hi, new to the group been out of the rc game for a while . Picked up this crawler today at a garage sale for 30 bucks. A couple questions I have are, what model is this? The transmitter and receiver are traxxas or is it a Frankenstein? Secondly did I do ok for the money? I’m sure I will have many more questions as I decide to get back in hobby. Thx

That looks like an XTM X 1/8 crawler to me, but modified a bit. The chassis looks different.

What's cool about that rig is it is a dual motor on axle (MOA) crawler. With the right radio, you can setup channel mixing on a knob to control the overdrive or underdrive on each axle. Then you can dial in front wheel drive, equal drive, rear wheel drive etc on the fly with just the turn of a knob. Your current radio won't do that though, but you can buy a decent radio with channel mixing for around $125 or so. Here's a video on doing that with the Radiomaster MT12 for example. Lots of radios have similar capabilities.
