Hey guys,

New to the rc world and just picked up a brushless arrma granite. Having a ball with the new toy but recently after a run the battery has a permanent bulge. A couple things that I hay have done wrong:

-10 outside
- did a run off storage mode, so drained the battery from 50%

I have had about 6-8 cycles on this battery since new.

Thanks in advance!!
B

Just thinking in this more, my granite has LVC set to lipo mode, shouldn't the truck have went into limp mode if the voltage was too low?

Perhaps the fact that I don't wait long enough between use and charge combined with really cold Temps outside added to the problem..

can't tell much on picture .I see of battery and lipo bag. not sure if your lvc is working correctly.Id invest in a 5$ battery buzzer that attaches to the balance plug ..and if lvc dint kick in then its set for wrong size battery as in cell count..you take the time to do a proper charge and then go have fun

Check if your ESC is set to nimh setting which has no LVC and would over drain your battery. Look in your manual on ESC programming believe it's setting #1 and should be set to 1 for Lipo. But unfortunately that battery is to dangerous to use anymore, any time a lipo puffs up it's bad and can burst into flames at anytime so I suggest taking it out of and away from your home.
