yeah... i did this years ago. works great. i have gone mud bogging and puddle pouncing so many times, and i havn't had a lick of trouble. good technique. i actually opened up my servos and put dielectric grease inside them, on the circuit board, then sealed them up, cleaned them down, and then dipped them in the plastidip. worked like a charm, i love dielectric grease. i use it on my receiver box too, kind of messy, but i don't care. it's all sealed up so...

so again... highly recommended method of water proofing.

I don't know if my way has been posted before, but it was actually given to me by my mom (she's so smart lol :D).

Anyways, I wrapped my servo's in Saran Wrap, then covered them with foil tape (which is stickier than super glue, and about as waterproof as caulk, btw), and the same to my radio gear. It can get a bit bulky if you want to be absolutely sure it's watertight, but it fit on my car.

If someone gives me a good image hosting site, or tells me how to post pics, then I'll do so. The servo's look like little foil-wrapped presents, or chocolates with little white nubs coming out.

This reminds me, does the actual radio BOX receive any signals, because it's totally wrapped in foil which will block any signals that it should receive.

Well, is it a good way of waterproofing or no? I must know!

Rules say I can bump after at least four hours, though I'm not saying I will do it that much.

Darnit, why do I always say snotty brat things like that?
