picked up a losi sport RTR 2 today.

will get pix up later, stadium is everywhere year round where i live. so it made sense. i tried 4wd, i really did. but prefer 2wd, and less stuff to work on.

You'll be happy w/ that truck...
Is there any difference between the xxx-nt rtr, and the xxx-nt rtr2?

Also, I very highly suggest tearing down all the plastic suspension pieces and boiling them, it really makes a difference in the durability of the truck. I used to always break the plastic parts on mine before I boiled them all.

2 sittin on ebay, SUT Pro sits half rebuild but untouched for almost a mth now. havent gotten around to it. have all the stuff i need though. new bumpers, tank, and radio box. new diffs and cases are on truck now. right now center diff section needs cleanup. shim outer diffs, rebuild shocks and put all the center guts in the truck and she'll be done. ready to roll. so if u want it we can talk.

how long should i boil i dont remember what i used to do.

the motor and some susp parts i hear are diff. i threw away my 1 mag that did have a review in it i remember.

YOU THREW AWAY AN RC MAG!? GET OUT OF HERE AND DONT COME BACK!!! Lol, :jk: I never throw away my rc mags, lol, I still have 2 old issues from 1996....

Anyway, 10 mins should be fine.

LOL 2 OLD issues from 96? Some of us are old enough to have issuses from a couple of decades before that( I only go 1 decade),so storing mags can be a pain. :) Wife hates the boxes of old mags in the basement!

Boil the parts  why and what parts do ya boil for ten minutes ??
I'm sorta new to this game and looking for any "inside info"

Boiling plastic parts effectively makes them softer and flex more, so in a crash, they are much more likely to flex as opposed to snap...I used to snap tons of crap on the xxx-nt untill I boiled my Arms, kuckles, hubs, hub carriers, shock towers, ect. Basically almost everyting plastic except the tranny case and upper deck pieces.

only choice i have to remove that clutch nut clip is to buy some split ring pliers?

I really couldn't tell ya, never had to remove it, or do any work for that matter on "mine" it never ever gets used at all because it's my dad's.
