New Traxxas X-Maxx and XRT Ultimate for 2025, and maybe beyond?

Hi everyone, How's it going? I just found out yesterday Traxxas just announced the return of the X-Maxx and XRT Ultimate editions after their limited run debut in 2024 aka last year.
I kinda wanted an X-Maxx Ultimate back then ans Jason Perrin made his look so amazing but they sold out before i could get my hands on one but hopefully this they'll be here to stay but you just never know.

These trucks supposedly have.

New steel driveshafts with Traxxas etched into them

New heavy duty drivecups from the Pro-Scale Funco Sand rail

The new Traxxas 2085RL high speed and high torque metal gear steering servo

New Prographix ultimate edition bodies

And all the aluminum hop ups found on the previous ultimates

Belted Sledgehammer tires (X-Maxx)

Belted Gravix tires (XRT)

And of course the TQi radio with bluetooth module preinstalled

Cool, Maybe you should do a build showcase about yours i'd love to see it. If the new X-Maxx Ultimate will still be available next year i might get one for myself and sell my old one. How's your iXSR holding up? i'm still waiting until November to get mine at least i hope so.

I think Traxxas is going to keep the ultimate’s around based on how popular they’ve been. I’m still enjoying the iXSR, no issues. My only complaint is I wish they had a more comprehensive manual. I’m old school and like to read manuals. I had it out last weekend and it as very sunny, I was amazed at how clear and bright the screen was. I’m really curious to see what V2 will be like when it’s released

Awesome i hope i can get my new Ultimate X-Maxx someday even i have to sell off my current one. I'm glad you're enjoying your iXSR makes me want one even more and yeah i wish they had a full manual included with it at one point i gave the online manual a good read a week or so ago. I can wait to see what the new iXSR v2 will be like when it comes out this November i'm hoping it'll be as amazing as the original but have some new features and i'm also hoping it won't be any more expensive than the original was around the 700 - 750 range.

I hope they come out with a gps setup for speed, then we won’t have to rely on a secondary device and app. I was really hesitant to get it due to the price but in did catch that sale they had so that helped a lot. Just can’t say enough nice things about it. Definitely one of my better purchases.

Although it's not like i can't keep upgrading my current one although it's just to need too much compared to the Ultimate. Hope you get that new XRT someday i hope to my new X-Maxx someday as well. First i'm going to run my old one a couple more times then i'm going take the parts i want to keep for the new one and i'm going to sell my old truck.

I definitely can't wait for November to come around i'm still saving up some bucks and then by November i can hopefully preorder mine. It'll be a bit expensive but hopefully it'll be well worth it i also considered the Futaba 10PX as well just in case although i already built up my Spektrum collection so much i feel the iXSR would make the most sense and trying to go back to Futaba might be pointless and even more expensive. If you didn't know my first ever aftermarket radio was a Futaba T4PM the original one i bought from my local track back in April 2021 it was great but i ended up liking what Spektrum had more but i also tried Radiounlink that was unsuccessful and a waste of $500. After that i bought the DX6C to get started on my journey to get an iXSR after the RC8X failed and the iXSR first came out.
