Well it's summer and the boy toy fever swept me and me dad. We already had one jet ski but we needed another. One for each of us to play on. So we bought another one and it came with the dual ski trailer too. The yellow is a 96(mine) and the green one is a 94(My Dads). 96 is 134hp and the 94 is 85hp. He argued that his was the yellow one but then i reminded him about how he said that 45mph was fast enough for him so now i just leave him maxing it out in like 4 seconds at 60mph. I'm not gonna say our price but I'll just say we have under $3600 in the trailor and both jet skies. Not to bad at all. Just finished putting in oil($35 gallon Damn!!) and getting them ready to leave. Water sports is a huge thing in my area with the Tennessee river and all and I'm one happy Waste Land!

I've learnt how to ride mine serveral way including backwards sitting/standong on the nose, sitting on handle bars, and bunch of silly ways. RS43Drifter was suppose to come with me today but had work so that sucks for him as today is my dad to really jump some yacht waves. Sorry you couldn't come Ty, we'll head out once my parents get back form Cali next week!

sweet toys man, lucky, i wish my dad had an extra 3500 layin around, thatd be awesome...it just shows ya...dont grow up to be a teachers..they dont get paid much..haha

Make sure you read the manuals, there is only one correct way to turn it back over if you roll it, otherwise you will be spending lots more green to get them repaired. And stay off the sandbars rocks and sand in those jet drives are bearing killers! I have already repaired several this year and expect to repair several more out of sheer ignorance to not knowing how to properly opperate the water craft, easily avoidable but costly to repair!

Why is there only one correct way to turn a jet ski back over?

I know I had a hyndai car once that was warned about rolling it... I bought it off a mechanic, he said that if I rolled it, and it was still drivable, it wouldn't run anyway. The carb would get all messed up. He said it had a carb in it that was messed up, so he took one off a different engine. He was carrying it upside down on the way to the new car as to not loose a gasket or something and it would not start up after that. He new it was a good carb, since the engine he took it off purred like a kitten. It's just that the engine the carb was in, was a car that was badly rear ended and totaled.

Yes both are 2 stokre one just is hella faster then the other. As far as reading th e manuals and allt hat other poop man, I've had a jet ski for 5 years we just got our second. The reason for turning the jet ski back over tot he left after flipping(badly) has something to do with it flooding out. You don't really need to do that unless u roll it going about 60mph and it flips and not just tips over. Usally my wrecks occur when i 360 or take turns going about 55mph and can hold on and the jet ski just stays up and i go flying and skipping.

No,it has to do with the exhaust going under water and filling the cylinders. You dont have to take my word on it,I only do this every day for a living?

No one is douting you man, That was just my best idea for it. Don't get all defensive. Say, I may be int he market for a few hop ups this summer for ym '96.....whats a good thignt os tart out with since you work with it and all. I'm just dying to go faster....and prolly die.

I've never perfomed any mods to a jet ski, so far it has been strictly repair. I do alota glass work, pump and drive rebuild(when we car salvage them) and the starter/charger/ignition yep its all one unit and a mother to get to on the big 1100's,alota carb cleanings?I could contact Red Line Racing tomorrow and see what is avaliable for you?

Well i have respect for you for working on those damn things. They make me mad because of limited space! I need to replace my gas guage sensor and need to fix my trim gauge. It was working untill a hard hit today at the river. The trim works fine but the guage is dead. Any ideas?

buy a new gauge..duh lol :jk: get it. and when i say get it i mean buy a new gauge

Did you check the wires on back of the guage? One could have fell off.No fuse box on most jetshi's,they normally have inline fuses, you could check that.

I havent checked anything i was just using my mph guage to determine about where it was. with trim down it was 45mph and when i pushed it up it quickly gained about 15mph. I'll check them tommorrow as I'm planning on waxxing the hell out of the bottom to try to get a few MPH out of it, lol.
