I'm in the process of getting a care package together so he should have an .18 sh to put on it. It's no Novarosi, but he will save 300 bucks...

yeah i dont know what it is,. the servos say victory hawk. i havnt seen any redcats that look the same. how will i know if its time to check the diffs????

If it was me, I would pull yhem apart now while I was waiting on parts. But that is me.

With some modification you may be able to put some traxxas diffs in it. T maxx 4 tec???? Idk..

if i pull them apart what do i do clean and regrease? look for damage? or lose parts? tight parts ? what

Though it looks like the a arms mount to the diffs...

Damaged and worn parts.. measure your bearings and throw a set of fast eddy bearings in it.. thats what id do. You dont want to put time and money in a car that has bad diffs. Expecially not knowing exactly what it is an where to get parts.

ok so the bearings are they all the same bc i saw the wheel bearings while i was stripping it and they seemed like all the bearings I've seen online? ok once i get in there what grease do i need to pick up weight and stuff ike that?

Not all the same. The way I did it when I ordered bearings was measured the d bearing ex. 10x5x4bearing measures 10 mm outside 5 mm through the center and 4 mm thick.

With what a tape measure or a micrometer lolol Idk if I have something that measure that small of stuff guess I better get a better ruler lol I ordered servos. I know I still need atlwast two different sets of tires. And a bunch of small screws for mounting everything.

A caliper. Dont sweat I will throw one of those in your package. Though it will be a plastic cheapie.. but will work for getting started.

poop I feel like Annie thank you Mr warbucks!! :p lol Jk but seriously this is really gonna help me get to where I need to be

Dot thank me, I will be claiming you on my taxes as a dependant. ..

And I'm assuming the stuff that's screwed in on the top of my servos is gonna come off and go on the new ones right?
Different companies use a different spline count on their servos. You'll need servo control horns or control arms with the number that will match the servo you get.

Before doing anything with servos, read the thread I was telling you about. I think it's called all you ever wanted to know about servos.

so its a smartech winner one aparently is that right? yeah def off brand lol. well atleast that link has a pic of what its supposed to look like all put together,

whats kind of bodies should i look for? 200mm orrrrr what?
